Dear parents,
One of the things that makes our little school so special is the sense of community and familiar environment. This is something that I want to keep and continue expressing. Within this positive culture and climate lies the most important piece- student safety. Back in August, I wrote to you explaining our am drop-off and pm pick-up policy. As a friendly reminder, here is what we need for all of you to help us with:
1. If dropping off student prior to 815 am, please park in parking spot, drop off in cafeteria and exit building.
2. If dropping off student after 815 am and you walk your child to their classroom, please park in parking spot, drop off at classroom, and exit the building.
3. When waiting for your child to be dismissed, please be so kind and wait outside the gates of Room # 8 and/or the benches that run along the fence next to the parking lot.
4. Please refrain from waiting in the hallways and/or going to your child’s classrooms.
5. If signing out your child prior to dismissal, please wait in the main office until your child arrives to the main office.
6. All teacher-parent meetings should be scheduled in advance and held between 800-830 am. Please refrain from having conversations with your child’s teacher after these specific times.
